Have You Ever Wondered Why Your Dog Scratches It’s Ears and Licks It’s Feet?

There is definitely, a simple answer to this question.

I am sure your veterinarian has checked all the possibilities that might be causing this and if nothing has helped, this may be new information that will help.

Many years ago, I completed a study regarding the location and concentration of mast cells.

Mast cells contain histamine, which when released, cause inflammation.

My findings proved, that mast cells are mainly distributed in the ears, feet, face and the skin, of the ventral abdomen of animals.

In 30 % of the affected canines, if their gum is not pigmented, where the gum attaches to the enamel of the tooth, there will be a small red line, I refer to as a gingival flare.

I there are more mast cells concentrated in one location than another, there will be more inflammation occurring in that location.

What does this mean?

It means that one ear or paw may have more inflammation, based upon more mast cell concentration than the other affected areas, and show more inflammation.

What then, will cause histamine to be released from mast cells?

In my clinical experience, I have found that certain foods will cause a histamine release.

The majority of foods that are fed to canines that have normal endocrine control of their immune system, will not be affected.

Those canines that have inherited or have acquired damage to the endocrine system may and can, develop food sensitivities.

This sensitivity comes from an endocrine immune imbalance, which is easily measured and identified with the proper blood test, which is available on this website under Atypical Cortisol Estrogen Imbalance Syndrome) ACEIS or what the general public calls Plechner’s Syndrome.

This imbalance will identify an abnormal cortisol production from the middle layer adrenal cortex that is either, deficient, defective or bound.

When this occurs, the hypothalamic pituitary axis will cause the hypothalamus to release its hormone referred to as CRF and stimulate the pituitary gland to release its hormone referred to as ACTH, which will allow the inner layer adrenal cortex to produce excess amounts of adrenal estrogen.

When this happens, the elevated adrenal estrogen not only binds the receptor sites for the thyroid hormones, but will also deregulate the immune system.

When this circumstance occurs, and the B lymphocyte is deregulated, and the lymphocyte production of the mucous membrane antibody, referred to as IgA, will be deficient.

When this happens, not only may food sensitivities develop, but also vaccine reactions and insect sensitivity may also occur.

This endocrine immune imbalance is the cause of allergies, including food allergies, autoimmunity and cancer in animals and in people.

Unfortunately, my clinical findings are not believed or taught in schools of higher medical learning, whether for people or for animals.

In animals and male humans, only estradiol is measured and NOT total estrogen.

In female animals, only estradiol is measured, and in human women, only the ovarian estrogens are measured which are estradiol, estrone and estriole.

There seems to be NO recognition by any of the medical professions that an excess of adrenal estrogen is present causing allergies, autoimmunity and cancer, and yet the world of medicine is concerned with excess estrogen production, but yet, adrenal estrogen is NOT measured.

Since elevated estrogen is the problem for canines, pets in general, and for their owners, obviously avoiding foods that contain estrogens, is highly important.

The following is a list of foods that contain high levels of estrogen, whether from plants (phytoestrogens) or from chemicals (xenoestrogens) that should be avoided for canines, felines, horses and for their owner, but only if any of them, have this imbalance.

. Soy and soy products

. Flaxseed and any flaxseed products.

. Sunflower seeds and any sunflower products.

. Sesame seeds and sesame seed products.

. Sweet potato if not organic.

. Carrots if not organic

. Apples if not organic.

NOTE: Any foods that are NOT organic may contain pesticides that are estrogen mimickers, called xenoestrogens.

Please realize that GMO grains contain glyphosates that the World Health Organization has called cancer producing (carcinogenic), therefore grain free diets may be of value.

NOTE: Please realize that as I have been informed there was a Trans Pacific Pact that was agreed to when Congress was out of session that was passed that legally says that any government that passes any law, like requires labeling or any other regulation that may hurt the profits of any corporation, will allow that corporation to sue that government.

Hopefully you now know, why labeling GMO products possibly will never happen.

Please only buy those organic products you think you can trust, and NEVER buy those products that are unlabeled.

Please realize, if your canine has ears that are inflamed and the entire ear flaps that are also inflamed, there is a good chance that your canine has a food sensitivity, especially if what had been prescribed by your veterinarian helps for a little while, but then returns.

Please also see if your canine has rust colored hair on the feet from licking, which saliva will create.

Also, the skin of the ventral abdomen may be inflamed.

If these clinical signs are present, doing an endocrine immune blood test may be the final answer.
