Do You Realize the Harm?

DO YOU REALIZE THE HARM THAT MAY HAPPEN BY USING MONTHLY INSECT REPELLANTS FOR YOUR PET?

Recently CBS San Francisco Bay News reported a story titled, “VETS WARN FLEAS BECOMING RESISTENT TO CHEMICAL TREATMENTS”.

http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2015/12/09/vets-warn-fleas-becoming-resistant-to-chemical-treatments/

Here is an excerpt:

Experts say fleas may be mutating and becoming more resistant to topical flea treatment”.

Katheryn Van Ekert with Vet Pronto is one of many Bay Area veterinarians that are telling many pet owners that the anti-flea solutions produced by companies like Frontline and Advantage that they are buying, are not working.

Dr. Van Ekert explained, “You can imagine when we’re applying a flea product that’s designed to kill a flea and those fleas have random mutations the genes that are resulting and are allowing the fleas to survive are going to win,” explained Van Ekert.”.

I have also found this to be true with both topical chemical applications and also with oral chemical applications for dogs and cats.

Over the years, it has been proven that the use of chemical pesticides can lead to the development of resistant strains of insects.

It has also been proven that the continued use of herbicides has led to the development of chemically resistant plants and noxious weeds.

Realizing this, why do you think treating your pet with the continued use of flea, tick and heartworm monthly chemicals will not create the same situation?

This situation has already been created and that is why many pet owners have already found the need to try using new chemical insect repellents, because the old chemical insect repellents do not work.

In the world of chemicals that are supposed to kill unwanted plants and insects, unfortunately a strain of plants and insects have survived and have become resistant to any chemicals that are used.

This also has occurred with the possible over use of antibiotics and the development of a resistant strain of bacteria, called MRSA.

Because we as veterinarians also see resistant strains of bacteria, I have found by using a nutritional clay internally and topically, the alkalinity of the clay will change the PH of the patients tissue, and the resistant bacteria will not be able to grow in an alkaline environment.

NOTE: When cancer cells grow and spread, they metabolize glucose into an acid end product. When the nutritional clay is taken internally, it creates an alkalinity in the tissue and helps stop the growth and spread of the cancer cells.

These monthly insect chemicals, besides helping create resistant fleas, ticks, and mosquitos, can be very harmful to your pet and to yourself.

If you read the directions for application of some of these insect chemical products, the following is on the label:

  • If you touch this chemical product while applying it to your pet, please call a Poison Center immediately.
  • After applying this chemical, please make sure that you do not allow any child under 10 years of age to touch the pet for 10 days.

When reading the side effects of applying some of these monthly insect repellants to your pet, why would you expose yourself, your child, or your pet to the possible medical effects that these chemicals can cause?

The next question to ask yourself is, what are the other health hazards that these monthly insect chemicals may cause?

As a clinical veterinary practitioner, I have seen the following side effects of using monthly insect chemicals:

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Epileptic seizures
  • Allergic dermatitis
  • Calcinosis cutis at the site of the chemical application and also in other areas of the skin
  • Acute blindness (SARDS)
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Dry flaky skin
  • An increase in abnormal tissue growth

If this article seems to be of value to you, please let me make some suggestions for the natural replacement of these monthly insect chemicals

  1. The use of Head and Shoulders with Conditioner, has worked for me for over 50 years for neutralizing fleas, ticks and fungal infections like “ringworm”.
  2. In the old days, which seems to include me, when you wanted to keep your clothes free of insects, you put your clothes in a cedar closet.

www.wonderside.com has a cedar spray for dogs and cats that works well, without causing side effects.

  1. For heartworm treatment and protection www.ambertech.com has an apricot based, natural product that is safe to use, and will safely do the same as other heartworm chemicals without the side effects.
  2. A final product that Mother Nature has created, that may protect the future for humans and for animals is a type of living clay, available at www. earth’snaturalclay.com.

This is an all, natural volcanic deposit that contains a very strong negative ion, which can do the following for humans and for animals:

1) It neutralize the toxins contained in chemicals that are estrogen mimickers, referred to as xenoestrogens. Note: for further information on xenoestrogens, please go to my website at www.drplechner.com.

2) It chelates out damaging heavy metals.

3) It neutralizes radiation and has been used and is still being used in Chernobyl and Fukushima

4) It neutralizes insect toxins and was the only thing that saved people during the middle Ages when they were bitten by a violin spider (Brown Recluse Spider).

5) It provides alkalinity, and helps stop the progression of cancer and MRSA.

6) Its negative ion will help neutralize all the estrogen mimicking chemicals that humans and animals are exposed to every day, like household products and cooking utensils, air fresheners, shampoos, toothpaste, plastics, etc.

For more information on nutritional clay, please go to my website. My 6th book is an e-book on this subject and is free to download.

Hopefully this article will help you and your pet survive, the toxic world that man has created.

Sincerely,

Dr. AL Plechner
