FOODS THAT CONTAIN ESTROGEN INHIBITORS

The following are a list of foods that will help lower estrogen levels that may be too high in you or your animal. These foods may contain certain amounts of estrogen, but also contain significant amounts of an anti-aromatase inhibitor (anti-oxidants), which stops male testosterone and female androgen from being converted into more total estrogen.

Wikipedia, Science Now and Natural News all list the following estrogen inhibiting foods:

All kinds of berries, broccoli, buckwheat, cabbage, citrus fruits (grape fruit, oranges, lemons), corn, figs, most fruits (except for apples, cherries, dates and pomegranates), grapes, green beans, melons, millet, onions, pineapple, squashes, tapioca, white rice and white flour.

Hopefully this will be a list that will help you and your pet avoid an estrogen dominance which may lead to allergies, autoimmunity and cancer.

You need to know that some of these foods may be allergenic for you and your pet. If you have gout, these foods may bind estrogen but also contain high levels of purines that can raise havoc with people that suffer with gout.

These are only some of my thoughts.

Sincerely,

Dr. AL Plechner
